Before running the tool for the first time, add about 4 c.c. of pneumatic tool oil into the air inlet, and add roughly the same amount again after about 3 hours of continuous use. Once you've oiled it, let it idle for about ten seconds without operating it so the internal parts lubricate fully before you start work. It runs off a mechanical air compressor putting out around 13.2-17.6 lb (6-8kg) of pressure; most compressed air carries some water, and the piston can carry a small amount of lubricating oil with it, so without an oil-water separator, moisture and oil can build up inside the tool over time and slow its rotation, cutting into speed and torque. That's why the pneumatic tool oil goes into the air inlet, followed by that same ten-second idle, before normal use.
